Pastor Carl Payne II is a licensed minister #183061 in Houston, TX. Raised in a family of Pastor and Ministers in the Pentecostal faith, he learned through the guidance of the Holy Spirit that denomination and/or religion is not what God intended to be essential in His Kingdom. By reading God's Word, and in all his getting, he got an understanding (as the Bible instructs believers to do) that there is One Faith, One God, & One Baptism.
Jesus Christ called us Talmid/Talmidim. Talmid(Tal-MEED) (singular), is the Hebrew word for disciple. Talmidim is its plural form. This word stresses the relationship between a rabbi (teacher or master) and his disciple (student/follower). A talmid of Jesus' day would give up their entire life in order to be with his teacher. The disciple didn't only seek to know what the teacher knew, (as is usually the case today). It wasn't enough just to know what the rabbi said, but the foremost goal of any talmid was to become "just like" the rabbi and do what the rabbi did to the absolute, in every way!
